Our telehealth services cover a wide range of non-emergency medical concerns, including but not limited to:
Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists are a class of medications originally developed to treat type 2 diabetes. These medications mimic the natural GLP-1 hormone, which helps regulate blood sugar levels, slow gastric emptying, and enhance feelings of fullness. When used as part of a structured weight loss program, GLP-1 medications can effectively reduce appetite, decrease calorie intake, and promote steady weight loss.
Our medical team ensures every prescription meets the highest safety standards, and we closely monitor patients throughout their treatment.
GLP-1 medications, such as semaglutide and tirzepatide, have been shown to help individuals lose significant weight when combined with healthy nutrition and lifestyle modifications. These medications work by:
Our program includes regular telehealth check-ins, allowing us to monitor your progress, adjust treatment as needed, and provide continuous support.
At Connection Health, we offer affordable and transparent pricing for our medical weight loss program:
Each vial is designed to last approximately three months when used according to our dosing protocol. Patients will receive one vial per treatment cycle.
We understand that investing in your health is important, which is why we offer Afterpay as a payment option. This allows you to split the cost into manageable payments while starting your treatment right away.
GLP-1 medications can affect hormonal regulation, leading to increased fertility and a higher risk of unintended pregnancy. If you are of childbearing age and sexually active, we strongly advise using effective contraception while on this medication. Additionally:
While GLP-1 medications are highly effective for many individuals, they are not suitable for everyone. You may not be a candidate if you:
During your consultation, we will conduct medical assessment to determine if this treatment is right for you.
Like all medications, GLP-1 receptor agonists come with potential risks and side effects. The most common side effects include:
Most side effects improve over time, and we provide guidance on managing symptoms for a comfortable treatment experience.
Mindful eating is the practice of paying full attention to your eating experience—including the taste, texture, and smell of food—while being aware of your hunger and fullness cues. It encourages eating with intention and awareness, rather than on autopilot.
Emotional eating occurs when food is used as a coping mechanism for stress, anxiety, boredom, sadness, or even happiness. Emotional awareness means recognizing the feelings that drive eating habits and developing healthier ways to cope.
At Connection Health, we guide you through:Recognizing emotional eating triggers and learning alternative coping strategies.
Practicing mindful eating to enhance satiety and reduce overeating.
Developing long-term habits that promote a healthy relationship with food.
Balancing nutrition with self-care to improve both physical and emotional well-being.
By addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of eating, you can achieve sustainable weight loss without feeling deprived.
